There are 3 basic ways to improve the appearance of linear scars from previous strip hair transplant procedures. The first is to surgically revise it or perform a scar revision. This involves removing the scar tissue and then re-closing it again.
The second method is to add hair into the scar using the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) surgical method during which Individual follicular units are extracted and then carefully placed in the scar.
The third method is to add micro-pigmentation or tattooing the scar at a specialized center for this.
Of all three methods, I prefer to transplant good hair into the scar using the FUE method. It is the simplest and allows for great results.
